Chains for Tracks, Inc. – E-Commerce Refund Policy

1. Refund Eligibility

Chains for Tracks, Inc. may issue a refund under the following conditions:

  1. The product is defective or damaged upon receipt.
  2. The product shipped does not match the order (incorrect item received).
  3. The product is returned unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for non-defective items.

Non-Refundable Items: Certain products, including custom chains, clearance items, or special orders, are expressly non-refundable.


2. Refund Request and Authorization

To request a refund, the User must contact our customer support team at chainsfortracks@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery. Refund requests must include:

  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographic evidence, if applicable

All refund requests are subject to review and approval. Refunds will only be issued after the returned product has been received and inspected by the Company. The Company reserves the right to deny any refund that does not meet the eligibility criteria.


3. Return Shipping
  • Users are responsible for return shipping costs, except when the return is due to our error or a defective product.
  • In cases of Company error or defective products, a prepaid shipping label will be provided.
  • The Company recommends using a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for items lost in transit.

4. Refund Processing
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 3 business days of the Company receiving the returned product.
  • Depending on the User’s payment provider, it may take 5–10 business days for the refunded amount to appear in the User’s account.

5. Refund Limitations and Disclaimers
  • Refunds are limited to the original purchase price of the product.
  • Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable, except when the return is due to Company error or defective products.
  • This Refund Policy does not limit any statutory rights of the User under applicable consumer protection laws.
  • The Company shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the return or refund of products.

6. Modifications

The Company reserves the right to amend or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website or purchase of products constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
