Featuring aggressive square-profile links, these chains deliver superior ground penetration and holding power on ice, hard-packed snow, mud, and slick terrain—giving you confidence in the toughest conditions. Designed for both skid steer and mini excavator machines with continuous rubber tracks, Square Link Chains are offered exclusively in the 17–18.5 inch (450 mm) and 15–16.5 inch (400 mm) sizes at this time.

Why Square Link?

Square link chains are the preferred choice for operators working in ice-heavy, compacted snow, and hard-packed terrain. The flat edges of each link create more contact points with the ground, delivering increased bite compared to traditional round link chains—especially where traction matters most.

Why 14 Chains Per Machine?

Through extensive testing, we’ve found that 14 chains provide the ideal balance of traction, stability, and smooth operation. With 7 chains per track, there are always 3 chains in contact with the ground per side, ensuring consistent grip and a stable ride.

Need more than 14 chains or have longer-than-average tracks? Additional or replacement chains are available individually, allowing you to customize coverage for your machine and operating conditions.
